Why enter Reaching for Gold?
By entering you will have the opportunity to:
- Offer the young people you work with a unique development opportunity – to Create, Compete or Collaborate with young people in other countries in the run up to 2012;
- Win enabling prizes for your organisation including a Toshiba NB100 laptop with built-in webcam, Mobile Notes E-Pen and a Sony DSC-SX30 Camcorder to support you through the second phase of the competition;

- Develop the project management skills of the young people you work with including building confidence, team working and presentation skills;

- Build relationships with an experienced voluntary delivery partner and mentors from a leading company in the South East;
- Associate your organisation with a high profile South East competition – providing publicity with leading brands;
- Receive support (we will cover all your travel expenses) for your team to attend the final award ceremony on 15th December at St Georges House, Windsor Castle and meet some inspirational people (and hopefully ASIMO the Honda Humanoid Robot);
- Each finalist will receive admission to Windsor Castle and a souvenir brochure;
- In addition to the Reaching for Gold trophy awarded to the winning group (and theirs to keep for a year!), the top three finalists will win commemorative Gold, Silver or Bronze medals. All finalists will be awarded Reaching for Gold finalist certificates;
- Win £5000 towards your organisation to support further development of the winning idea.
