About Reaching for Gold
Reaching for Gold has two stages:
Stage 1
Any group aged 14 - 21 living in South East England can apply and tell us about their idea for a product or service that will change the lives of other people in a positive way.

The application deadline is 5pm on the 30th November 2011
The applications will be reviewed by a panel of judges made up of voluntary, business and public sector partners.
Stage 2

e announced in December. From January to March you will receive support and mentoring from experienced voluntary and business partners, to further develop your idea.
On 15th March 2012 you will have the opportunity to pitch your idea to win up to £3000 (£1500 or £750 for runners up) to make the project a reality.
Reaching for Gold Grand Final and Awards Ceremony
The pitch will be part of a Grand Final Event in the settings of Windsor Castle. During the day there will be lunch, an opportunity to practice, give your pitch and explore the castle. The day will conclude with an Awards Ceremony.
After the event you will have one or two more mentoring sessions where you can discuss how the pitch went and what plans you have for the future of your project.
