Q: I work for a Youth Offending Team and am interested in helping some young people apply for this award and money, are we eligible?
A: Yes, provided that the young people are aged between 14-19, are on community sentences (ie not serving custodial sentences), would be available for structured development sessions between January & March and can attend the final on the 29th March.
Q: I noticed in the information that it says the young people need to be supported by either a voluntary or community group but I just wondered whether there is any flexibility around this as I work for a Borough Council but have young people attending our Youth Forum who would definitely be interested in this?
A: Provided that you are constituted as an organisation and you work with young people between 14 and 19, you can apply.
